How did this year prove to be?

   As we all know summer is time for leisure. Everyone wants to have some rest, so the astrologers do. That’s why now it is time to look back and find out, what the passed year proved to be for the astrological life in Kharkov .

  As usual the astrologers of Kharkov gathered for seminars which traditionally take place once a month. The seminar season was opened by Sergey Smelyakov with his report “The Hidden Power of the Golden Section and Solar Cycles in Nature, Society, Egyptian and Mayan Artifacts”.

  The next, October seminar was devoted to presentation of the book “Astrology of Self-Realization” by Konstantin Daragan , for which he was awarded the prize “Golden Dolphin” this year in Odessa . Ludmila Trunova reported about this contest and an astrological conference in Odessa .

  In November Valeriy Tolstoy presented his report “The Unknown Pages of Astrology. Amazonian Zodiac” , which dealt with the history of astrological symbolism.

  In January two astrologers made a speech: the first one was Ludmila Trunova , reporting about an expedition to Egypt , she had taken part in.   Tatyana Mandryka followed her with her report about immigration and the way it can be indicated in a birth chart.

  The latter subject was also discussed at the February seminar, this time Elena Maksimova was the one to make a report. Together with her student she presented “Astrology of relocation” .

  Next seminar was devoted to two reports: one by Irina Poznyak “Uneven lunar Profections” the other by Tatyana Mandryka “Life crises” based on the example of Liz Novak, the astronaut.

  In April there was another report by Elena Maksimova , this time she spoke about children, namely about the indication of barrenness and fertility in birth charts.

  The last report this year, which took place in May, dealt with the basic techniques of feng-shui .    It was presented Larisa Zisina .  

  Except the interesting seminars there are two more events which are definitely worth mentioning. December the 3d the upgraded website of Kharkov Regional Astrological and Informational Centre started. From that time on the users are able not only to get access to a forum , open for astrological discussions of any sort. The website can also inform about the astrologers of Kharkov and The School of General Astrology, organized by our centre. It is being regularly updated and provides the users with the latest news.

  And more than that. This year our centre celebrated its tenth anniversary . We hope, that next ten years also be that interesting and successful.
